Insight
A Lighting Director role for Mirrad on the Arcadia Afterburner for the All Together Now festival 2019. Adequate experience in programming and operating on the Avolites consoles, Mirrad were confident in me executing the role on and off-site.
The role consisted of organising a previs session in the studio to check MIRRAD’s lighting design worked with the fixture swaps, the showfile programming worked and add programming features to suit my style of ‘busking’. While onsite, working alongside the Arcadia Crew, I ensured everything was communicating together on the console in terms of lightings, LEDs and video. Adding on more fixtures the show director brought in, tweaking the architectural lighting on the trees to his taste and ensuring MIRRAD that everything was running smoothly.
Then it was as simple as operating the event!
